Love Notions - Tidal

Version française suit la version anglaise.


Good day,

I had the chance to test the latest pattern from Love Notions “Ladies Tidal tank & top” (affiliate link). 

This is a real quick sow, for my first version it took me less than 2 hours from printing to fit pictures!

Pattern features:

-          Tank top, knee and maxi length dress

-          Sleeveless and short sleeve styles

-          Two neckline and arms band options

During this pattern testing, I completed three tops. The first one, which was my muslin for this pattern testing. Unfortunately,  I don't have picture to show you because I felt it didn't represent the final version of the pattern.  During testing, or just making something for yourself,  sometimes you go through multiple versions before your reach the perfect fit! This is actually what I like from Love Notions, Tami is trying to reach the perfect fit for everyone and really takes into consideration everyone's comments.

The second version (picture below - pink and black) is a polyester knit from my local Fabricland.  My third version is made from a light weight knit with stretch lace (see picture on the right above and below).

This pattern has been drafted for B sewing cup, 2” difference between the high bust and full bust. If your bust is fuller than a 2” you will need a full bust adjustment (FBA).  The instruction includes steps by steps to customize the pattern for FBA.  Both of these versions I used the FBA method included in the instructions.

By now you know that my Ipad is my best friend in my sewing room! The Love Notions instructions are designed for computer & tablet viewing.  Making it easy to follow along and enjoying your music at the same time.

J’ai eu la chance de tester le dernier patron pour femme de Love Notions «Ladies Tidal tank & top » (lien affilié).

 

Il s’agit d’un projet rapide!  Moins de 2 heures de l’impression du patron au résultat final.

Caractéristiques du patron:

- Camisole, chandail, robe décolleté maxi et longueur du genou

- styles manche court et sans manche

- deux options de bande de bras et col

 

Au cours de cette période, j’ai complété trois chandails. j'ai malheureusement pas de photo de mon premier essai. Parce que je trouvais qu'il ne représentait pas la version finale du patron. Durant testing, ou un projet personnel, on n'a besoin de faire plusieurs versions afin d'atteindre la perfection!  Ce qui une grande qualité de Tami, le designer derrière Love Notions.  Elle prend en considération tous les commentaires de ses testeurs pour améliorer le produit final.

 

La deuxième version est un polyester tricot  qui provient de Fabricland (version rose et noire). La troisième version est un tricot cotton léger avec de la dentelle (version verte et bleue).

Ce patron a été dessiné pour un buste de grandeur B, en couture un B est définit par une différence de 2" entre le buste élevé et le buste complet. Si la différence est un peu plus que de 2" vous aurez besoin d’un ajustement complet du buste (FBA).  Les instructions inclus les étapes pour personnaliser le patron à votre silhouette avec un FBA.  Dans les deux exemples présentés dans cette publication j'ai utilisé la méthode FBA. 

 

Vous connaissez déjà mon meilleur ami dans ma salle de couture, mon Ipad !  Ce qui est bien avec ce nouveau patron est que les instructions sont conçues pour tablette et ordinateur portable.
